High school diploma required, college and/or vocational credentials preferred

Position Description:
Denver based property management company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a large complex in Las Vegas NV.

Scope and Purpose: To be responsible, under the
direction of the Community/Maintenance Manager, for the maintenance of
the property.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the company and resident’s welfare.

Keep the grounds, garbage container areas,
hallways, garages and/or parking lots, in a neat and orderly manner,
not allowing any trash or debris to accumulate.

Assist management/leasing staff with curb
appeal which may include detailing model units, putting out balloons,
banners, a-boards, etc.

Complete work orders.

Regular maintenance of the building exteriors and interiors.

Maintain pool, hot tub and/or saunas.

Parking areas are to be maintained in a clean and safe manner.

Keep an inventory on all parts and tools
belonging to the community. Maintain a neat and organized workshop area
free of clutter and debris.

Turn vacant units within 3 days of the prior resident’s move-out.

Change the lock(s) on all vacant unit doors.

Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

Personable and trustworthy.

Ability to work with and understand the problems of residents.

Concern for work-safety program.

Exceptional customer service skills,
including problem solving skills and the ability to respond quickly and
tactfully to customer requests.

Dependable, highly-motivated, and organized individual skilled at meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.

Willingness to pitch in and work in areas
other than repairs and maintenance, e.g. janitorial, custodial,
gardening, painting, etc.

Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying.
