My Client is an exciting well funded and progressive US-based automotive manufacturer that develops and produces environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient vehicles. They are passionate about green technology, product affordability and job creation. They are now seeking a Automotive Electrical Engineer, on either a permanent or contract basis, to be based at their Memphis operation.
The successful Automotive Electrical Engineer will be responsible for Design, integration, and testing of electric systems and electronics in electric vehicles.
Other Duties will include:
Ensuring that the product is developed on time and on budget.
Manage multiple programs and configurations and plans for continuous improvement.
Maintains a technology roadmap and assesses technology for future applications and improvements. Works to ensure High Voltage safety, to all applicable Norms & Standards.
Stays engaged in the overall development and contributes to ensure the proper selection and utilization of electric technology.
Must be willing to travel and locate in Atlanta for an extended period.
BS in Electrical Engineering and a sound knowledge in Automotive engineering is required.
Low and high voltage experience
Experience with electric systems/electronics integration into an electric vehicle
Experience with battery technology
Electric vehicle design (From an electronics perspective) and testing experience 5- Experience with vehicle electrical wiring, low and high voltage
