Primary responsibility is to support the development & commercialization of the regional apparel range which includes the resizing program, quick turn graphic tee program & key account SMUs.
Assist in the coordination and research of all phases of the development process.
Review prototypes for correct fabric/trim/print details & overall workmanship and effectively communicate your findings back to the sourcing office
Analyze costing sheets for accuracy & ensuring garment costs are meeting required targets
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of garment bill of materials and product database, based on R&D time and action calendar.
Actively participate in product meetings & fit sessions –identifying key issues in regard to pricing, garment details & workmanship.
Daily communication between Design, Merchandising & Sourcing offices
Assist development team on special projects when needed.
Participate in on-site development trips as required
College degree in a related field preferred.
General knowledge of apparel construction, fabric/trims, costing, and overall manufacturing processes.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/seasons at various stages of the development process at the same time
Ability to meet required deadlines in a fast paced environment
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to use Lotus Notes/Microsoft Office/Adobe Illustrator applications
Requires International & Domestic travel
