Brief Description of Role:
The Senior Manager, Field Communications is a senior individual contributor position, reporting to the Director, Field Communications & Enablement. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing field communication strategies that promote field readiness and effectiveness across AS Services, Trading and Operations (AST&O). This individual will have the following responsibilities:
Partner with the AST&O leadership team to develop and implement holistic communication strategies for top business priorities, including role-specific strategies.
Collaborate with business partners/subject matter experts to identify AST&O-relevant initiatives, projects, and offers and work with the AST&O leadership team to prioritize the associated communication needs based on how they align with business goals and objectives.
Author organization-wide strategic communications on behalf of the AST&O management team, focused on the execution of major business initiatives.
Identify and implement new communications channels and programs to drive the continuous improvement of field communications.
Work closely with the AST&O management team to create leadership messages and talking points that heighten organizational awareness around the context and rationale for policies, procedures and processes that impact the client experience.
Develop and implement communications plans to support all AST&O Field Enablement programs.
The individual in this role must be an effective influencer and leader, with the ability to build relationships across departments and at all levels of the organization. This person must be able to think from the perspective of an advisor client, as well as a Services Representative or Trading Associate, in order to create effective communications and content. The candidate must be a strategic thinker, who is passionate about enabling a positive client experience. This is someone who is a consummate professional, collaborative, a quick learner, self-motivated and results-oriented.
Posses the confidence, diplomacy, maturity and business savvy required to effectively facilitate dialogue and decision making with the sales leadership team.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective at synthesizing large amounts of information with a deep-understanding of what constitutes sales-relevant content.
Demonstrates the flexibility required to support the changing needs of the organization.

Experience working with service organizations.
Understanding of the RIA industry.
Experience developing field communications programs and content.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience required.
Bachelors Degree required.
Knowledge of the RIA industry a plus.
