The Position:
Procurian is seeking a collaborative and
results-oriented Sourcing Leader with expertise in a
wide range of Facilities Services and Asset Management
categories to work with Fortune 500 clients to develop
and execute sourcing strategies that support each
company’s business goals while achieving optimal
pricing, efficiency, quality and service levels. In this
capacity, you will be based out of Procurian’s King of
Prussia, PA office and will have substantial involvement
in supporting sales and solution design and in helping
procurement organizations expand their involvement and
control of non-traditional spend areas. Specifically,

you will:
  • Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities
in Facilities Services spending across a wide array of
leading companies
  • Lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such
as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award
recommendations, business case presentations and
supplier contract execution in any categories within the
Facilities Management
  • Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder
relationships at priority accounts; support account
stakeholder relationship plans
  • Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives,
ensuring that the Facilities Services sourcing team is
supporting overall company direction and growth
  • Mentor Facilities Services sourcing team on
stakeholder and project management, with a special
emphasis on collaboration, customer focus, delivery
excellence, continuous improvement, negotiations and
  • Pursue Asset Efficiency solutions and develop
strategies to lower Client Operating Costs
  • Represent the Sourcing & Category Management team as a
category expert to current and prospective customers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline
(business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics)
from a top tier university
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing and/or category management
process within Fortune 500 organizations and ideally

with demonstrable expertise in the following categories:
o Project Management
o Workspace Management
o Office Products
o Food Service
o Cleaning Services
o Waste and Environmental Services
o Security and Access Control
o Real Estate Services
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide
range of Facilities Services suppliers
  • Deep knowledge of Integrated Facilities Management
contracts, market landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to determine and generate savings
from global and regional implementations for IFM
  • Responsibility for Asset Efficiency and Facilities
  • Well-developed, solution-oriented selling and
negotiation skills with proven record of experience with
IFM suppliers worldwide.
  • Ability to drive transformational change
  • Excellent communication, organization/time management
and problem solving skills
  • Solid multi-phase project management skills
  • Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix
organizational structure working with multiple internal
  • Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and

Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Logistics or
related discipline, MBA preferred
  • Ability to effectively lead formal strategic
sourcing efforts related to MRO
  • Deep knowledge of multiple MRO Materials categories
including Comm/Data, Electrical/Electronics, PTB,
PVF, General Industrial, Cutting Tools, Abrasives,
Safety, Pumps/Hydraulics, Material Handling,
Welding, Fasteners, Filters/HVAC, and
  • Ability to interface with customers and suppliers
via strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Formal training and/or experience in strategic
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft
Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft
