The University of St. Thomas, a private university committed to the liberal arts and to the religious and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education, is seeking an Adjunct Professor in Physics. The University enrolls more than 3,700 students with its main campus located in Houston's Museum District.
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at the University of St. Thomas anticipates an opening for a part-time adjunct teaching position in physics beginning in mid-August 2013. The person must have a graduate degree in experimental physics or engineering. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in a lab environment and has skill in the design, troubleshooting, and repair of physics laboratory equipment.
Typical courses taught would include: General Physics I and II Labs and Lectures.
