Responsible for identifying and implementing enterprise wide solutions within targeted customers that improve patient outcomes, lower total cost of care, and accelerate Zimmer growth
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
25Establish and expand relationships with C-Suite, Senior Supply Chain/Sourcing Executive and Orthopedic Clinical Leadership within targeted customers and geographic markets that provide a competitive advantage for Zimmer
25Leverage deep understanding of market trends and key customer challenges to identify the Zimmer Enterprise Solutions that will be most effective in helping customers improve their outcomes and lower total costs
20Develop and foster highly effective relationships across a matrix of indirect distributors, direct sales specialists, marketing, product development, operations teams and provide account team leadership to deliver innovative customer solutions
20Utilize comprehensive knowledge base of customer aggregation models, negotiation strategies and practices, emerging intermediaries as well as Zimmer’s pricing policies and procedures to provide leadership across the Zimmer sales matrix during the contracting and pricing process
10Establish a broad foundation of knowledge of the Orthopedic disease states, product and service solutions within the Zimmer and competitive portfolio’s to serve as a consultative resource for customers on emerging, potentially disruptive Orthopedic technology

Broad knowledge of Orthopedic service lines, medical device industry and market dynamics
Solid knowledge of healthcare provider economics, healthcare reform, and market trends
Executive level oral and written communication skills
Detail orientated with strong project management skills
Highly proficient and self sufficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
B.S. degree in business, marketing, or equivalent and 10+ years experience in sales, marketing, sales management, and national accounts where specific actions resulted in substantive performance enhancement for the organization. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Multifunctional experience in sales, marketing, solutions selling, finance highly preferred
Experience within Medical Device market required with mix of capital, device, disposables preferred
