Major Duties and Functions
Responsible for researching, designing, developing, and delivering test initiatives for a tightly integrated product suite

General Responsibilities
Complex test lab administration
Team and technical leadership defining and deploying QA methods and tools
Self directed work style; provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experience professional staff
Position Requirements
Senior level QA engineer experienced in test design, test development, and test automation within a multi-tiered java application hierarchy. Core skills include:

Ability to lead testing efforts for multiple software development projects (product features, platform and framework extensions)
Demonstrated experience in QA methodologies: test processes, test planning, test development, test automation, and test metrics
Specific experience testing JAVA, J2EE, EJB, Web Services
Understanding of test design methodologies: libraries, frameworks, and infrastructures
Understanding of Agile development methodologies: test driven development, automated deployments, continuous integrations
Understanding of overall SDLC processes: product release, interlocks with upstream/downstream functions (SE, Test, Doc, Release Mgmt) and quality measurements
Expertise in estimating, planning and refactoring test deliverables
Ability to collaborate across the organization (on-shore and off-shore; individual contributor, leads, and management)

Technology Requirements:
Scripting and automation: SoapUI, XML, XSD, SQL, JUnit, Silktest, Selenium
Databases: Oracle
Application Servers: Weblogic, Websphere
Concepts: UML, Data Modeling, Schema Modeling, SOA
Platforms: HPUX, Solaris, RH Linux, Windows
Requires 6 years related experience with a BS; 4-6 years experience with an MS
