The Audit Assistant for the Internal Audit (IA) Team will assist in the timely planning, organization, and execution of financial, operational, information systems and compliance audits. Additionally, the Audit Assistant will assist in the development of solutions to promote operational efficiency, verify compliance with policies, and adhere to brand standards. In conjunction with daily audit responsibilities, the Audit Assistant will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties and audit support activities including works paper management, report editing, office management, meeting scheduling, and travel coordination for members of the Internal Audit Team. The assistant must establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders from International Capital & Management Company (IC&MC) and their respective clients.

This position is responsible for providing administrative audit and office support to IA team members by attending required meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, background materials and minutes as appropriate.

Scope and Complexity: Under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit, the Audit Assistant serves as a shared resource to the IA Team. A successful candidate will utilize strong internal control and accounting experience. Additionally this individual will assist with all phase of the audit life cycle, particularly in the documentation and reporting phases. Furthermore, a successful candidate will ensure that the Internal Audit Office is managed and run effectively and efficiently.

This position requires a great degree of flexibility and the ability to work independently.

Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Economics, Finance, and Business Administration preferred; Three or more years’ experience working in an audit/accounting capacity; Five or more years of recent experience working as a secretary or administrative assistant or office coordinator required; Requires strong computer skills, an ability to type quickly and accurately and a working knowledge of office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
