-Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments
-Designs and conducts research and analysis (for example, estimated market potential, buyer conversion, market share) to identify community merchandise distinctions
-Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
-Evaluates and refines company computer systems (for example, Retail Link, Traits System, QuickBase, Alteryx) and processes
-Maintains and communicates accurate and timely market intelligence for all Walmart stores
-Manages community attributes (for example, demographic, geographic) for all Walmart stores
-Manages the traits governance process across the company
-Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Bachelor s degree in Business, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 5 years experience in merchandising, operations, or related field OR 7 years experience in merchandising, operations, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
-1 year experience working for a syndicated data firm
-2 years experience managing change initiatives.
-2 years experience in market research design and execution.
-2 years work experience requiring advanced statistical analyses and interpretation of results, including trend analysis and modeling.
-4 years professional retail experience in merchandising, operations, marketing, or finance, including 1 year in a role requiring strategy development.
-Previous experience with Alteryx, Quickbase, Photo Shop and Advanced MS Excel
-Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
