Working within the geology group, you will be responsible for a variety of projects associated with the design and development of the mine’s well fields.
You will participate in field activities related to uranium drilling, coordination of drilling activities, geophysical logging and sample descriptions. You may also be involved in special projects as assigned.
Office activities will include various types of uranium mineral mapping, ore reserve calculation, computer work, report preparation and data research related to prospect development.
You will have a direct impact on mine production and recovery.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in geology and a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience, preferably in a mining environment.
Ability to work well independently, as well as with a team is required
Applicants will be considered for a level within the job progression, which is appropriate to their qualifications
