City of Coppell Coppell, TX Deputy City Manager The ideal candidate must have a minimum of ten years progressively responsible experience in municipal government with a minimum of three to five years experience as a department director, assistant city manager or deputy city manager is required. Along with a Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field, it is strongly preferred that the candidate have management experience at the departmental level while supervising multiple divisions, functions and people. While additional executive level certification is preferred, a demonstrated record of continuing education and training is required. Must possess a valid Texas Driver's license, a good driving record and excellent personal/ professional background. Salary will be negotiable depending upon candidate's qualifications.
