Javan Engineering is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer and CNC Machinist to work at a client site in the Philadelphia, PA area. As Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for: Developing manufacturing methods in a job shop environment, which utilizes the most efficient work center and process possible Developing detailed tooling packages and detailed route sheets for orders once booked. Working closely with the CNC programmer and the production planning department. Evaluating manufacturing processes by conducting research; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators. Improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Assuring product and process quality by establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes. Providing manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements. Coordinating quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost. Conferring with customers on manufacturability improvements and rework processes Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. Keeping equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service. Completing design and development projects by training and guiding operators. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. As CNC Machinist you will be responsible for: Printing work orders Fixing orders to machine Position tools Inputting programs Operating machinery Proofreading and editing programs Optimizing machinery Checking calibrations Working with Fadel controls in G code
As Manufacturing Engineer you will need: Associates Degree in CAD,CNC, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline A minimum of 2 years experience with manufacturing methods and procedures, manufacturing quality, and product development Good written communication and verbal skills As CNC Machinist you will need: A minimum of 4 years of CNC Programming experience Good written communication and verbal skills We are interviewing qualified candidates immediately!
