Time Out North America is seeking an individual experienced in the area of digital analytics and research. The Manager of Analytics & Research will be responsible for analyzing web site data to provide actionable insights on all activities on our websites to either improve usability or increase traffic. He or she will also be responsible for all external research initiatives including MRI surveys and ComScore Data. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Director.

Core Responsibilities: â—

Analyze and report on web site performance. â—
Work with management to identify, track and report on KPIs. â—
Ensure proper Omniture coding so that accurate and relevant data is being collected. â—
Manage weekly and monthly reporting and tracking, flagging issues and opportunities for internal stakeholders. â—
Track mobile application metrics and analyze usage. â—
Report on partnership metrics, including transaction monitoring (i.e-ticketing). Ensure proper tracking codes are being used on all external promotions. â—
Evaluate traffic sources and provide recommendations of other traffic sources. â—
Work with product team to conduct A/B tests and report on results. â—
Train staff on Omniture and provide dashboards and/or scheduled reports to all departments. â—
Work with Publisher to conduct MRI studies. â—
Manage ComScore relationship. Understand data collection and statistics gathered, and fine tune to meet the needs of the sales team.

Professional Requirements: â—

2-4 years of experience in web analytics and Bachelors Degree. â—
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think critically and deliver recommendations based on data and analysis. â—
Must be comfortable with large amounts of numbers/number crunching. â—
Understanding of internet technologies. â—
Entrepreneurial instincts and the ability to work independently. â—
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with Editorial, Production and Sales Development teams â—
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience â—
Familiarity with internal web tracking solutions a MUST (Omniture preferred). â—
Experience using Comscore, and/or Nielsen Net Ratings preferred.
