The Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst III is primarily responsible for evaluating program material, assembly, and testing milestone dates then planning and scheduling, and tracking of production releases and work in-process work orders accordingly. This includes analyzing and coordinating material requirements and material need dates based on the program milestone dates. The Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst III maintains the master production schedule and provides revisions when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, production, or engineering. The Analyst will provide the communication focal point for information (status, changes, issues) about the maps, formulate planning and scheduling guidelines for use across all manufacturing teams. Ensure that performing organizations (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and other support organizations) commit to capable schedules. Ensure that MPS dates are input/maintained in formal systems that conform to commitments (SAP, MS Project).

The Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst III will help determine key indicators for the planning, scheduling process and develop associated measurements. Identify process improvement opportunities and facilitate lean activities
(a2 Responsible for evaluating program material, assembly, and test schedule requirements while coordinating material availability accordingly
(a2 Utilize MES, ERP, MRP and other systems to determine and track material requirements and track assembly/test progress to schedules
(a2 Work with Buyers and others to ensure that parts are ordered in a timely manner and procurement issues are resolved timely to support program milestone dates.
(a2 Understand and communicate procurement, assembly, test and quality priorities to support program milestone dates
(a2 Release work orders and supply various information to MRP and other electronic systems
(a2 Provide daily/weekly/monthly material, assembly, test status reports

Bachelor ('9s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Logistics / Technical required

(a2 Overtime expected/required
(a2 Travel required: less than 10%
(a2 Five or more years planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment required.
(a2 Knowledge of business systems (ERP/MRP)
(a2 Proficiency with MS Office software and advanced Excel skills
(a2 Excellent analytical skills
(a2 Extensive knowledge of planning/scheduling components-capacity management, MRP, maps inventory control techniques and policies
(a2 Proficiency with MS Project software
(a2 Knowledge of SAP preferred
(a2 Must be a US Citizen
