Description
Responsible for financial performance of the area business unit, reviews financial statements, oversees purchasing, assures billing compliance and documentation. Implements area core growth strategy to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy percentages, and assists with new start development as appropriate.
Maintains and fosters relations with case managers and referral agents; participates in building relationships with local legislators and government officials; and lobbies on behalf of consumers and Network as appropriate. Implements area strategies to maintain and foster relations with consumers, mentors, families and guardians; and implements consumer satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate
Oversees area quality enhancement and implementation plan, coordinating Network standards, licensing requirements and individual consumers needs; and reviews area incident reporting. Implements area incident management protocol; ensures timely incident reporting
and implementation of corrective action; and assists with area investigations. Oversees development and implementation of area health and safety programs for consumers and employees. Maintains area compliance with Network and regulatory standards for clean, neat, safe living and working environments; and assures pleasant, age-appropriate, well-decorated home-like residential living environments; and directs area maintenance. Provides leadership including direct supervision of Home Managers or other staff; works with regional support team; implements Network employee practices; oversees area safety and workers’ compensation implementation; approves area involuntary terminations and reviews written warnings; and assists with employee orientation and training programs. Maintains licensing and compliance for area services and supports; assures timely and accurate documentation; oversees area implementation of Network compliance plan; and assists with correction orders and over-sees implementation of compliance plans.
Directs and supervises Home Managers and assigned staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline.
Must demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment,including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, alcohol and other drug use, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, cultural social and work relationships,and conducting a mental status examination, complete a five-axis DSM diagnosis, write and supervise the implementation of a ISSP and provide individual, family or group therapy within the scope of their training.terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Education and Experience:
Masters degree in human services and
four years of related experience with one year experience in clinical supervision.
Minimum qualifications as authorized by the LMHA or designee:
o (a) Bachelor’s degree in nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon;
o (b) Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon;
o (c) Graduate degree in psychology;
o (d) Graduate degree in social work;
o (e) Graduate degree in recreational, art, or music therapy; or
o (f) Graduate degree in a behavioral science field.
Pass and maintain a background clearance check
Vehicle in good working order, current vehicle insurance
Valid driver license and cleared to be a driver
