Member of Client Funding team at GE Capital - Working Capital Solutions (WCS). Responsible for managing the Client Funding processes, including Preparing Client funding schedule, Accurate and timely processing of Client reporting, Timely processing of outgoing wire transfers, Client issue resolution including repayment collections. Requires close cooperation with internal functions such as: IT, Risk, Sales, & Integrations.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Prepare Funding schedule for all Clients by global region in conjunction with the Clients as well as internal functions as IT and Risk.
  • Timely execution of all Funding activities part of the Funding cycle in line with the funding schedule to ensure 100% on-time funding
  • Send and follow-up on client reporting
  • Maintain and develop internal controls that support the flawless execution of all Funding activities, limiting or reducing operational risks.
  • Any disconnects are to be reported immediately to the Global Funding CoE Leader to take corrective actions.
  • Communicate & closely work together with internal teams such as: Risk, IT and Integrations.
  • Ensure accurate & swift response and resolution to Client queries
  • Maintain constant communication & feedback to the FactorLink development team
  • Assist where necessary in reconciliations with clients, investors and/or controllership
  • Follow up with clients on overdue positions
  • Close cooperation with the Bank Booking Team to allocate Syndication payments
  • Prepare & review funding payments in multiple currencies for 250+ clients globally, with a receivable balance of about $7B+ USD (for deals covered/managed thru FactorLink).
  • Deal execution including coverage for Europe, the Americas and Asia
  • Prepare & check funding reports for clients
  • Lead and/or Participate in improvement projects within FactorLink, Client reporting or general process improvements where required.
  • Actively work with Commercial, Capital Markets and Risk team on growth initiatives such as emerging markets and NPI’s.

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance
  • Financial & Client Account Analysis Experience

    Desired Characteristics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Commercial, Management or Finance related field
  • Experience in Financing Services activities
  • Financial Services Industry Experience
  • Factoring and Trade Finance knowledge and experience a plus
  • Factoring System knowledge a plus
  • Pro-active and independent problem solving skills are required, as well as the ability to think through processes, drive standardization and be a team player.
  • Strong ownership of your responsibilities and portfolio
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to drive the factoring process and other projects
  • Ability to build strong relationships with our stakeholders (internal as well as external)
  • Customer responsive, problem solver.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated effective organization & multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Oracle & Business Objects a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
