The Chief Plant Engineer for Glenmore Distillery is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of all Glenmore Distillery operations, infrastructure and grounds through management of internal engineering and maintenance team and outside contractors.
Will be responsible for managing engineering and maintenance staff of Glenmore; overseeing vendor managed services; tracking, analyzing and improving key maintenance parameters such as equipment efficiency, maintenance costs, PM compliance, etc.; will lead annual capital expenditure program for the facility, ensuring projects are submitted, prioritized and executed on time and within/under budget; managing gas fired boiler operations; ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations to include monitoring and reporting to appropriate government agencies; works closely with all production departments to introduce new technologies for improving quality and productivity.
Requirements for position : Bachelors degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years experience in a managerial position (food or beverage plant maintenance operation); must have knowledge of environmental programs and regulations including air emissions, SWPPP, etc.; programming and CAD experience; project management skills
Preferred skills for position : Previous experience in distillery; industrial construction management
