Lead Parts Ordering Competency.
Ensure all Parts Ordering analysts are trained and certified on the Supplier Scheduling Process
Ensure compliance to the corporate process for Supplier Scheduling in all sites
Coordinate effective parts ordering process across divisions.
Develop, document and monitor supplier performance
Apply standard SAP functionality and utilize EDI for the communication of schedules and forecasts to suppliers and eliminate manual flow of information to suppliers
Measure the use of MRP parameters across divisions
Document and develop business rules for a corporate process for inventory reconciliations (API and cycle counting)
Provide schedule and other analyses as required to support business needs and objectives
Incorporate supplier delivery performance and EDI compliance into the supplier scorecard
Ensure proper data connections and collaboration with Logistics and Customs for lean and cost effective material movement.
Provide Production Control Process and SAP subject matter expertise to divisions.
Support the PC Workbench project on all functionality related to Parts Ordering.
Interface with IT on SAP 4/6 maintenance related to parts ordering.
