Periodic evaluation of the policies and procedures of the Nutrition Services department.
Periodic evaluation of the menus, substitution procedures and recipes.
Develops system of planning and serving therapeutic diets with adjustments for individual needs.
Consultation and implementation regarding the use of the diet manual.
Periodic evaluation of the diet order procedure.
Observation of food production and service procedures.
Evaluation of sanitation and safety procedures.
Evaluation of adequacy of staffing and aid in scheduling.
Evaluation of adequacy of equipment.
Evaluation of resident's nutritional needs and consultation with nursing and other disciplines regarding avenues of improvement.
Establishment of resident visitation criteria and procedure for manager to participate.
Establishment of a close working relationship with the Administrator and with the overall management of the facility.
