Consultant assumes responsibility for providing lactation education

Must meet education requirements for Hawai’i state

Current Hawai’i RN license.

Current BLS/HCP card.

Current International
Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification or

NRP certification (must obtain within one
year of hire).

Three years experience in providing
breastfeeding education, counseling,

or related

Bachelor’s degree in
nursing or related field.
