POSITION OVERVIEW: Promote, enhance, and evolve the Chamber’s social media and digital strategic plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Position the Chamber as a thought leader and the voice of business in the new media space by injecting and sustaining a cutting-edge perspective to the Chamber’s social media activities. Attract, retain, and engage stakeholders through the Chamber’s digital and social media properties by leveraging the organization’s messages through social media channels to expand its reach online. Build and imbed a social and digital culture at the Chamber by developing organizational guidelines and standards for social media engagement; coordinate and conduct training for staff; and produce regular reports of social media successes for senior leadership.
REQUIREMENTS: College degree and 5+ years’ experience in social media and digital communications; savvy and strategic thinker with excellent judgment and ability to prioritize; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team; proficient with latest analysis and monitoring tools and metrics; and an understanding of HTML and CSS languages.
Salary commensurate with experience.
