Ciber has an immediate need for an Programmer Analyst I position for the Application Management work unit in Nashville Tennessee.

This position will have the following responsibilities

:

Analysis, design, development, and maintenance of custom Java applications

Prepare workflow diagrams for developing, testing and maintaining custom Java applications

Prepare technical specifications and diagrams

Develop reusable, written unit test materials

Develop Java code

Create and update application technical documentation

The candidate must have either a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent experience.

The position requires the following abilities

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Must have 3 years working experience as a Java developer, within the last 3 years

Must have 3 years Hands-on experience in object-oriented language/frameworks Java, C#, J2EE, RDBMS (Microsoft SQL or Oracle), and Web technologies including HTML/JavaScript within the last 3 years,

Must have 3 years experience with open source frameworks like Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Adobe Flex or AJAX AC (preferred), within the last 3 years

Must have 3 years Experience with GUI development, within the last 3 years

Must have 3 years Experience with an IDE such as JBuilder, Netbeans, or Eclipse (preferred), within the last 3 years

Must have 3 years Experience with Agile, Scrum, XP or similar development methodologies, within the last 3 years

Must have 3 years Experience in technical estimation, integration tools (ESB, Cast Iron, etc.), web services, and application tuning, within the last 3 years

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with management, development staff, and customers

Experience in configuration management and continuous integration and automated build tools

Experience in configuration management and continuous integration and automated build tools

Familiar with industrial Java coding standard and experience in code review and code quality control

Familiar with Web-services and Service Oriented Architecture

Familiar with build and deployment processes in the Unix/Linux environment
