Responsibilities for this position will include:· Coordinates and facilitates customer PPAPs, FAIs and New Product Initiatives.· Supervises Quality Technicians· Communicates with Customers on quality issues.· Supports engineering in developing Quality Plans for new product.· Reviews and oversees Customer Return analysis and assists Technicians in establishing corrective actions in response to customer returns.· Participates in plant Process Certification for key manufacturing processes.· Communicates with Field Sales on customer issues and correction efforts.· Some travel is expected· Reviews supplier submitted PPAPs.· Other duties within this discipline of manufacturing not listed.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a Quality Supervisory Position.· 3 years minimum experience in a Quality position of responsibility preferred· Experience in developing PPAPs and FAIs for new or revised product· Understanding of MSA, APQP, SPC and PFMEA.· Understanding of the 8D corrective action process· Coordinates and facilitates with little directive.· Good written and verbal skills· Capable of completing task on time and presenting in a professional manner.Desired Qualifications:Prefer Six Sigma Greenbelt certification and knowledge of use of Six Sigma methodologies. Experience in a manufacturing environment with automated equipment, excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Desired Quality Skills: PPAP, 8D, CpK, SPC, GRR, FMEA, MSA, RC/CA, Auditing Certification, QMS (ISO/QS/16949), Lean, Gauge Calibration.
