Maintain effective working relationship with housekeeping staff to reconcile rooms status.
Complete check - ins and check - outs through the computer system.
Ensure guest privacy and safety.
Make reservation for guests.
Sell and up- sell hotel facilities and services
Post banquet checks, laundry charges, phone charges, etc.
Keep desk area stocked with necessary supplies, material and amenities.
Keep desk area neat and organized.
Obtain payments and operate as cashier for guests including cashing personal checks and travelers checks and processing credits cards.
Responsible for own bank and accuracy of it.
Perform cashier audits
Complete shift bucket checks, checklists and shift reports.
Act as “Information Center” for guests and visitors to the hotel
Maintain familiarity with hotel services and directions in order to answer guest question.
Promote hotel outlets and promotions.
Maintain familiarity with the Little Rock area in order to assist guest with their needs and directions.
Post charges from outlets and ensure overall proper payment.
Complete hotel call around on a daily basis
Complies 100% with service excellence standards.
Attend departmental briefings and meetings
Performs other duties as assigned.
