TS/SCI with Full Scope Clearance Required

Job Description:
Raytheon AST is currently seeking a System Administrator to develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity and to contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Required Skills:

  • Shall have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Systems Administration administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance.
  • Shall have UNIX system administration experience (Linux, Solaris), understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, Microsoft Windows, performance tuning and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels), and the ability to write simple Perl/Shell scripts.
  • Shall have customer service and organizational skills.
  • Shall have experience in updating and maintaining web pages.
  • Shall have experience of query syntax, data flows, and of how to manipulate traffic.

    TS/SCI with Full Scope Clearance Required

    Desired Skills:

  • Self-starter, capable of working both independently and in team environments.
  • Knowledge of how C/C++, DBMS, and Perl work together.
  • Understanding of analytical needs and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Oracle (including installation and setup).

    Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meet the experience requirements
