The Fiduciary Coordinator is responsible for the monthly carrier premium and eligibility reconciliation's to Mercer's proprietary billing and eligibility platform.
This position is also responsible for the maintenance and financial reporting of each client’s disbursements and receipts with Mercer’s
National
Accounting
Center
.
To fulfill this role, the Fiduciary Coordinator will:
Reconcile all carrier/vendor invoices monthly for each client assigned.
Prepare and request payment remittances in accordance with each vendor’s due dates and remittance requirements.
Responsible for i
dentifying, tracking, and resolving discrepancies between system eligibility and vendor eligibility.
Review Fiduciary Reconciliation's performed by the NAC each month and resolve outstanding issues. M
onitor, record and balance all cash received and disbursements for assigned client groups. Prepare financial reports and submit to NAC for review.
Configure billing rules at Implementation or benefit renewal for clients utilizing the Benefits Enrollment Platform.
Run reports and create monthly client bills.
Liaise with other internal Mercer Administration employees to provide timely carrier resolution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related education and work experience
1 - 2 years related industry experience preferred (accounting or billing, financial analysis)
Time management and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook required
