Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers in a friendly manner, smiling, establishing eye contact, expressing
a desire to help and using a friendly tone of voice, while accurately performing teller duties, including cashing checks, receiving deposits and processing other transactions as authorized and within policy.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and balances all daily transactions.
Promotes banking services and directs customers to appropriate employees or departments for specialized services. Embraces, promotes, and is accountable for delivering, Fulton’s superior customer service program.
Required Experience Requires a minimum of six (6) months previous cash-handling experience in a sales position where sales goals were part of the performance standards for the position.
Preferred Experience Prior banking experience preferred.
Preferred Education High school diploma or GED preferred.
Required Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills required. The ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide). Ability to analyze, compile, compute, copy, compare, speak and take instruction. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to develop an understanding of and communicate information related to bank retail products and services. Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to exercise good judgment and resourcefully solve routine problems. Ability to recognize referral opportunities to appropriate bank personnel. Must possess entry-level computer skills. High level of flexibility, adhering to hours assigned by the individual branch. Must be able to adapt to assigned branch operations.
Requires ability to reach above and below the waist. Ability to use fingers to pick up, feel and grasp objects. Ability to lift and/or carry supplies and/or papers. Ability to mostly stand with some sitting, walking or moving throughout the work environment.
Ability to utilize keyboard.
