Empire City Casinois actively seeking a Director of Surveillance. The Director of Surveillance ensures the protection of the company's assets, compliance with NYS Gaming Commission regulations and the safety of guests and employees.
Administers the planning, directing and staffing of surveillance activity
Establishes and ensures the adherence of all departmental policies and procedures
Formulates and tracks department budget
Supervises Shift Supervisors and employees
Responsible for scheduling employees and ensuring proper coverage
Establishes proper training format, agenda and corrective action for all surveillance employees
Oversees daily operations and actions/performance of all employees to ensure compliance with department procedures and directives.
Manages activities in the casino and surrounding areas via CCTV and covert operations
Determines need and placement of surveillance equipment cameras and makes all necessary adjustments
Oversees proper control of all department logs, including but not limited to; daily activity, supervisor report, equipment repair, tape control, property access, incident report, master security tape, dub tape, etc.
Coordinates, writes, reviews and follows up on all reports
Detects any theft, cheating, unsafe conditions, unusual or illegal activities.
Conducts investigations as necessary and reports all findings via proper channels
