Working to protect the bank against legal and reputational risks, the expertise of Deutsche Bank's progressive, international Legal team spans diverse legislative and regulatory environments. From complex business transactions to litigation and regulatory matters and the analysis of financial products and services, we support and advise all Deutsche Bank businesses and their interactions with clients. The team is structured around the following groups: Corporate Banking & Securities: Corporate Advisory, Asset & Wealth Management, Private Banking Clients and Business Management disciplines. There is a results-oriented culture throughout the global team, with a strong focus on continuous professional, personal and managerial development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drafting and negotiating the following New York law agreements and contracts: ISDA Master Agreements (including Schedules and Credit Support Annexes thereto, Futures and Options Agreements, Clearing Documentation, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and any other relevant documentation and subsequent amendments.

Reviewing and advising on standard industry netting opinions.

Assisting with the production of standard forms and templates,

Providing transactional support and management.

Assisting in special projects such as contract review and contract abstractions.

Liaising and coordinating with the Legal, Risk & Capital Division of bank and other internal departments as necessary.

Experience Requirements:

At least 3 to 5 years experience with a law firm, bank, or in-house corporate background with a focus in Contract drafting and negotiation, preferably within the investment banking or financial services industry working with some or all of the contracts listed above. Experience in capital markets and experience working with hedge funds and investment managers would be valuable.

The candidate would ideally have the following skill set/experience:

Strong analytical skills

Good legal drafting ability

Detail oriented

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Well-developed interpersonal skills

Ability to work under time pressure and with a high volume of work

Qualifications:

Law Degree
