The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development is seeking a detailed individual to work within the Division of Housing/Housing Policy Unit. Essential duties consist of collecting, reviewing, and remediating payroll documentation for Department of Energy (DOE) weatherization projects where Davis Bacon applies. In addition the selected individual will assist with reviewing and remediation of HOME rental project compliance documentation; and assist policy research and program requirement development. Flexible part-time hours approximately 32 per week, Monday - Friday, between 8-5, Limited to 1500 hours per/year. Position is not eligible for state benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess strong skills in data analysis, written communication and organization abilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer demonstrated experience with policy research and the development of program requirements and experience with affordable housing and/or Davis Bacon. Undergraduate or Master's degree in related field preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
Special Requirements
Limited travel may be required.
