Here are some of the responsibilities of the job:
Greet customers and load product into vehicle quickly, accurately and professionally:
•Greet customers promptly and professionally.
•Wrap, load and secure merchandise into customer vehicle without damaging the merchandise.
•Confirm that customer receives correct merchandise.
•Complete appropriate paperwork.
•Handle even exchange orders and customers bringing back merchandise for credit.
•Uncrate and re-crate merchandise for inspection when requested.
Apply fabric coating to picked-up merchandise:
•Un-crate, spray and re-crate merchandise. Inspect merchandise for flaws.
•Use safety equipment when spraying merchandise.
•Perform housekeeping of work area, helping prep merchandise for deliveries and tugging merchandise to pick-up dock and prep bays.
Training, Safety, and Housekeeping:
•Attend required safety classes and specific training as mandated by NFM (i.e., Quality, Service Plus, Back Education, etc.).
•Use sound safety practices.
•Identify, report, and take positive steps to correct any safety/security deficiency affecting NFM staff.
•Clean assigned warehouse areas, including trash removal, sweeping, organizing, mopping, etc.
•High school diploma/GED preferred.
•6 months labor or warehouse experience.
•6 months customer contact experience.
•Warehouse machine operations experience preferred.
•18 years of age or older
•Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
