POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall project management of various moderate to large complex infrastructure and web technology projects. This position will demonstrate strong prioritization, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The candidate must be detail-oriented, well versed in project management methodologies and project life cycles, skilled in cross-functional matrix management of technical resources, possess Information Technology experience, possess ability to multi-task, and work under moderate supervision.

The Project Manager will play an integral role in the success of the group. Specifically s/he will be responsible for:
  • Project management of assigned moderate to large complex Information Technology projects
  • S/he will be responsible for planning, implementing, and controlling assigned projects to completion
  • Ensures project deliverables and tasks are completed on-time
  • Successfully manages project road blocks and challenges
  • Assists with departmental projects and other duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • A minimum of 4 years proven experience in program or project management leading clients and team members through large complex system implementations and integrations.
  • Demonstrated Information Technology background in web hosting, enterprise applications or software development
  • Demonstrated experience managing ERP/CRM projects, including upgrades and customizations, and vendor management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication, analytical and problem solving skills, and short term and long term planning skills
  • Possesses ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Performs duties with quality and accuracy
  • Possesses exceptional multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills. Effectively prioritizes workload with minimal direction
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business and client relationships
  • Experience in Information Technology
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • ITIL v3 certification
  • Salesforce Implementation Expert
  • Experience managing virtualization or datacenter consolidation projects
  • Previous experience in the education industry and e-learning technologies
