Job Description: Responsible to perform equipment distribution functions and inventory management for clinical equipment in clinical areas.

Provides support services to meet patient environmental needs. Services include, and are not limited to patient transport, stocking and distribution, material transport, equipment and supply maintenance. Delivers a high level of customer service while ensuring the satisfaction of patients and staff. Participates in providing and maintaining accurate information and inventory levels.

Uses technology to its fullest potential . Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Must successfully complete departmental training and orientation. Must become familiar with medical equipment and obtain a basic understanding of their use.

Must exhibit excellent customer service, teamwork, good math skills, strong communication and organization skills. Must have light mechanical abilities. Demonstrates basic computer navigation skills, warehousing devices and equipment, hardware and software. Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with the values and mission of LVHN.

Exhibits PRIDE behaviors and uses AIDET communication. BLS (CPR-Health Care Provider level Course Certification is required. Influenza vaccination will be required for all personnel working within LVHN, who have patient contact, unless medically contraindicated or due to a bonafide religious belief or practice. Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Strong customer service skills, clinical work experience and or clinical education. Comprehensive Crisis Management experience. Licensure and Certifications: BLS (CPR-Health Care Provider level Course Certification is required.
