Provides clerical and administrative systems support to promote efficient management of patient care needs. Registers patients by obtaining appropriate patient demographic and financial information, appropriate signatures on all forms or consents, and entering information into computer system. Coordinates communications within and among services; serves as unit receptionist and supports data management. Works under the supervision of the Unit Manager or designee, following established CCMC or unit protocols and procedures.

High School diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred. Minimum 2-3 years experience in a health care environment preferred.

Previous experience with ADT systems and insurance verification systems (SMS IDX, IBEX)preferred. Knowledge of managed care, referral, precertification, and authorization process preferred. Computer, typing, and data entry skills required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle a fast paced, high volume environment along side multiple disciplines a must.
