Edgewebhosting Inc., based in Baltimore, MD, is a leading provider of high capacity managed hosting services. We are looking for a unique individual to fill our Technical Account Manager position. This role is very diverse, with the successful applicant being able to perform a variety of tasks that are both technical and social: helping to chart a client ’s strategic use of Edge ’s Services and Products. The Technical Account Manager is a trusted business advisor to client providing valuable guidance and communication for all services Edgewebhosting provides.

The Technical Account Manager will provide quarterly reviews with each premier client as well as coordinate support tickets and incidents managing each through resolution. The Technical Account Manager will develop a relationship gaining an understanding of customers Business, IT organization, and the role Edgewebhosting provides within their organization. Finally the Technical Account Managerr will become a seamless extension of the clients staff and their spokesperson in the coordination of all Edge resources ensuring customers receive excellent customer services as well as effective solutions. Duties: Day-today customer management including relationship building, requirements analysis, status reporting and customer reviews.

Facilitate routine account reviews which would include management of contractual deliverables, periodic analytics/reports, root cause analysis/incident reports delivery. Work with Edge sales, support, operations and engineering team to resolve partner issues Provide support in the discovering and managing customer expectations and requirements. Main liaison between internal and external stakeholders including customer, implementation management, engineering, development and support teams on projects and issues. Present the Edge technical vision and strategy coherently and consistently across assigned product lines to a technical and business audience Maintain in-depth product/solutions knowledge of market trends in aligned technology including understanding of competition Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and competitors in assigned technology area Maintain long-lasting relationship with customer technical teams Required Skills/Qualifications: Technical understanding of managed hosting solutions and current trends in the Hosting Marketplace Ability to understand the customer better than they do, anticipate future needs and help determine the ideal solution for issues Strong communication skill both verbal and written and able to effectively communicate technical information to a wide range of audiences .

Ability to engage the proper resources within the company to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently Energized by making customers happy and successful Preferences Knowledge of Hosting Solutions such as: Cloud Hosting, Colocation, Cluster Hosting, Enterprise E-Mail Hosting Broad understating of some of the following technology a big plus Software such as: HTML, ASP, Microsoft .Net, ColdFusion, JavaScript, PHP, and Perl.
