The Oscar Mayer business unit is home to consumer favorites such as Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs, Oscar Mayer Cold Cuts, Oscar Mayer Bacon, Lunchables, Boca, and Claussen. Oscar Mayer has 8 dedicated manufacturing facilities in the United States and the business unit headquarters is located in Madison, WI.
Quality Systems Manager – Internal/External Auditing
Kraft Foods Group is currently seeking a Quality Systems Manager at our Oscar Mayer facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The successful candidate would gain managerial experience and knowledge within the Quality function while providing support to a complex plant environment. This individual will interface with Headquarters and Plant personnel as well as hourly union employees. This position is responsible for improving, modifying, and maintaining the Madison plant’s internal and external auditing process. The Quality Systems Manager provides leadership to quality systems associated with 8-10 Non-Exempt Quality Technicians and Auditors to maintain and improve regulatory compliance, food safety and manufactured quality. This position serves as lead for ISO 22000 Global Food Safety Audits as well as 3
Party compliance audits for Quality of the Madison Plant. The Quality Systems Auditor exercises solid knowledge of quality systems, procedures, policies, USDA, and data analysis in daily work. This position will rotate weekend coverage with other Quality Staff.
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or other science related field
2-5 years in a quality or operations leadership role
Strong leadership and technical skills required
Ability to handle multiple assignments, develop work plans, and prioritize workload.
