The Ambulatory Clinic Rep I is under moderate supervision, performs clerical tasks associated with scheduling and verifying patient appointments, registration and check-out procedures, maintaining the patient filing systems and monthly data. Performs cashiering duties, coordinates ancillary services, consultations, and referral orders for patients. Answers and screens incoming calls, takes and relays messages to clinicians.
Qualifications: One-two year experience in a medical office setting.
Skills Required: Bilingual English/Spanish required. Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with the public; Good customer service skills. Effective written and communication skills. Typing skills, basic filing and organizational skills. Ability to work independently at times.
