Design, test, and modify computer-based information systems in response to user requests and problems; develop and maintain programs and data processing systems. May supervise students.
Key Functions and Expected Performances:
Assist statisticians with statistical analysis (20%): This position will be responsible for managing or reshaping datasets and scripting in R or other appropriate programming languages.
Provide technical assistance to end users (20%): This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and correcting problems experienced by application end-users and Windows, OS X, and Ubuntu workstations.
Experience with Unix-like environments, Git a plus
Candidates are expected to be able to work independently on self-managed projects as well as working as part of a programming/development team
This is a full-time position.
Salary is dependent upon years of education and experience.
