The Accounting Department in the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa has an opening for a renewable term position as Instructor of Accounting beginning in Fall 2013. Teaching duties will focus on the introductory courses in Financial and Managerial Accounting and the Introduction to Business course. A particular expertise in an area may provide an opportunity for other teaching assignments. We are looking for an energetic, engaged professional who has experience presenting and explaining accounting concepts and issues. The position of Instructor is an annually renewable appointment for an initial period of seven years. The teaching requirement is three courses per semester. The candidate must have either an MS in Accounting or an MBA along with an active professional certification. A CPA is preferred. The successful candidate will be professionally qualified through current industry experience at an appropriate level.
