Linium is currently recruiting for an Automation Specialist for our client in Rensselaer, NY. This is a long term temporary opportunity paying a competitive hourly rate and offering Benefits, PTO & 401K options!
Requirements for the role include:
BS/BA in Science, Engineer or Software Programming or equivalent relevant work experience
Direct experience with automated control systems
2+ years’ experience with manufacturing equipment
Basic knowledge of cGMP and sanitary equipment design requirements
Strong knowledge of process control systems and automation
Strong PLC programming skills
Moderate knowledge of engineering documentation required for cGMP process equipment
Responsibilities:
Provides technical and automation support to manufacturing
Prepare performance reports for automated systems used in commercial manufacturing
Implements software and changes
Project management related to corrective action or equipment performance
Supports Validation Department with design review, software testing and protocol review
