Develop team spirit among personnel and instill pride and value. Ensure that each customer and potential customer is provided with efficient, high quality customer service, the customer base is expanded through successful selling of bank products and the profitability of the branch is enhanced through the careful management of assets, liabilities and operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Expands customer base through understanding and identifying customer needs of retail and lending services.
Understands the competitor bank products and services.
Prepares a business plan for increasing the assets of the Branch.
Develops branch sales goals for team members of the Branch, communicating expectations and monitoring performance.
Manage the Sales Management process.
Handles all interviewing, selection, counseling, training and development of each staff member.
Review, evaluates loan applications for completeness and credit worthiness, complete loan and collateral documents.
Approves loans up to individual lending authority, submit to next level of management for lending authority.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Post high school education preferred with a minimum of 3 years experience in commercial banking or retail environment required. Supervisory and lending experience beneficial.
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
