Specific Job Description
Directs all phases of SOF CLSS Aviation Programs (Fixed and Rotary Wing) from concept development through retirement and final disposition.

LRP Commitments: $200M and ~150 task orders per year – positioned for future growth.
Employees: Currently 800 – planned growth to over 1000

Serves as senior Aviation director for a worldwide logistics support contract supporting Special Operations Forces overseeing the management and successful completion of task orders and the IDIQ process; manages multiple Contract Types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Price Incentive Fee, Time and Material) realted to aviation activites supporting SOCOM and conventional service commands.

Senior Program Director position supporting Technology Applications Program Office (TAPO) for all aviation and Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) for both fixed and rotary wing aviation related task orders and production, including aircraft modification, non recurring engineering, and build. Other scope includes interfacing with Naval Special War Command (NAVSPEC WARCOM) and all Navy Program Executive Offices (PEO) for aviation related task orders. Provides senior staff oversight to all related subcontractors, (e.g.Boeing program management on two rotary wing aircraft modification programs).

Formulates partnerships and relationships with customer, suppliers and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include: (1) Managing team of Task Order Managers supporting task orders; (2) Ensuring successful proposal response, program planning, estimating, and execution of related task orders associated with specific program requirements.

The position requires successful response to rapid changes and the dynamics of acquiring, fielding, and supporting multiple customer missions.

Develops and executes organizational plans, policies and procedures across the enterprise to meet strategic and tactical goals.

Standard Job Description
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
