Performs a variety of food service duties to facilitate efficient workflow within the Food and Nutrition Department. Performs various food preparation, portioning, and service (tray assembly line, tray and nourishment delivery/pick-up, food production, catering, Atrium and Cafeteria) duties to facilitate food service efforts. At all times practices sanitary food handling techniques to prevent contamination of food. Maintains work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner.

This individual must be able to read, write, and apply basic mathematical skills. Must possess a good sense of organization, motivation, and ability to communicate. A pleasant, helpful attitude is a priority. Observance of cleanliness and sanitary standards is essential. On-the-job training will familiarize the individual with specific position duties.
