Within F&EP is our Enterprise Performance Management service line, where our business consultants focus on solutions to help organizations dramatically improve their ability to organize, integrate and analyze a wide range of financial, operational, competitor and marketplace information. Oracle Hyperion EPM solutions is an industry leading enabling technology to the enterprise performance management process in which many of our practitioners specialize. Job Description Client's Hyperion Planning (HP) and Essbase Consultants are deployed to the Finance and Enterprise Performance Management Consulting organization. HP/Essbase Consultants support the business process definition, functional design and technology enablement as part of Enterprise Performance Management programs focused on financial modeling, planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and financial reporting. As members of the project teams, HP/Essbase Consultants provide subject matter expertise in both leading business practices and application expertise to assist in the designing, developing, and deployment of the Hyperion Planning and/or Hyperion Essbase applications. Accenture's Management Consultants are expected to drive efforts throughout the full lifecycle of the project and provide supervising and coaching to junior team members. They work closely with functional and technical client leads to advise on best practices and to define and implement the solution that best positions them to operate as high performance businesses. This position requires a minimum of 80% travel. Key Responsibilities: Lead Hyperion Planning (HP) and/or Hyperion Essbase implementation workstream(s) such as: o Coordinating activities to support clients through requirement gathering and process design, planning & forecasting leading practices, financial analysis, and providing recommendations to enhance and financial analytic reporting as the Business Analyst Lead o Advising on technical designs and development best practices as a lead for the application component (e.g. HP/Essbsae Application Lead, Reporting Lead, and Data Integration Lead) o Develop the test plan and coordinate resources required to complete end-to-end testing as the Test Cycle Lead o Defining a training plan and coordinating resources to deliver application and process training as the Training Lead Employ financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and management reporting knowledge and past experiences to architect optimal planning solutions incorporating leading practices in areas that include: business and finance strategy, target setting, profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting, key performance metrics, driver-based planning, and rolling forecast Recommend ways to enhance financial analytic reporting for the end user Facilitate application design sessions advising in areas such as application architecture, process and application alignment and optimization, report design and alignment to the most appropriate Hyperion reporting tool, and security design Configure HP/Essbase application components, including optimal dimension configuration, business rule / calc script customization, web forms / task list definition, Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio reports, Smart View templates, and HFM rules customization in line with business, functional and performance requirements Assist with data conversion and interfacing activities, including user support to load and reconcile data Prepare key deliverables such as requirement documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides Supervise, train, and coach junior team members Basic Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience in financial modeling and analytic reporting utilizing multi-dimensionality Minimum 2 years experience designing and/or developing Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase and/or FDM and/or HFM and/or DRM applications Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience designing and/or development financial reports, including statutory and/or management financial reports; experience with Hyperion reporting tools (Hyperion Financial Reporting, Hyperion Smart View) Minimum 2 years of functional Enterprise Performance Management experience, including but not limited to requirements definition, financial modeling, dimensional profitability, process design, testing, and training Global consulting experience Demonstrated ability to support teams in both functional and technical capacities Ability to communicate complex ideas to clients in writing and verbally Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects Project delivery experience employing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or Consulting Delivery Methodology (CDM) models Implementation experience with multiple Oracle Hyperion EPM (version 11) technology solutions (Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Data Quality Management, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning) Implementation experience with Hyperion Workforce Planning and Capital Asset Modules Development experience and knowledge of HP Business Rules and Essbase Calculation scripts Oracle Hyperion certification Global Management Consulting experience
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of master data analysis, design, implementation, and support of master data management applications and familiarity with EPM/BI applications. Minimum of 2 years, or equivalent of project management experience, as a Master Data Architect and Project Manager. Experience with Oracle-Hyperion Data Relationship Management (Hyperion-DRM/previously Hyperion MDM) Bachelor's degree
