The Quality Management Program Coordinator at St. Charles Health System (SCHS) supports various QM programs, projects, and data processes. Provides education and trouble-shooting services for caregivers and leaders. Provides technical and logistical support for project teams, committees, stakeholders, project sponsors, and process owners as necessary for effective execution of program objectives. This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.

Provides educational, consultative, technical, and logistical coordination for assigned quality programs and projects.
Maintains thorough and up-to-date knowledge of data and regulatory requirements applicable to assigned program areas (e.g., Joint Commission standards, CMS conditions of participation, OSHA, Oregon laws, HIPPA, and how these relate to SCHS policies, procedures, and forms.
Provides process and technical support to leaders in developing and revising policies, procedures, and forms.
Serves as a liaison, with IT support, for program-specific reporting applications. Runs and distributes reports. Assists recipient s with report interpretation.
Conducts regular and ad-hoc research on regulatory requirements, vendor specifications, and other program issues.
Represents the program on process improvement teams, work groups, and committees as necessary.
Leads projects as assigned for the entire SCHS system. .
Acts as a Project Manager for designated Quality department projects. Drafts reports, meeting minutes, flow diagrams, charts, and other materials using standard Microsoft Office applications.
Represents the department and SCHS positively through outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Education or equivalent experience in quality-improvement processes, tools, and facilitation preferred. Advanced education or specialized courses preferred in medical terminology, business, accounting, and project management preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements.
Personal Protective Equipment: Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.
Experience: Training in quality management, project management, and regulatory standards preferred. Experience with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements such as CMS and OSHA preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications required. Experience coordinating and facilitating multi-disciplinary project teams preferred. Able to work effectively with little supervision and to make sound decisions in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions required. Experience working with highly-confidential information preferred.
