What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Accountabilities in this role
The Case Cart Supervisor will be responsible for directing the staff and activities of the surgical case cart and supply area at The Nebraska Medical Center. This position oversees staff in the preparation and delivery of the surgical case carts that meet customer requirements in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. The Case Cart Supervisor will be responsible for the care, maintenance and stocking of the surgical supplies in the surgical supply storerooms

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; degree preferred
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphteria/Pertussis.
