Job Summary
This Senior Financial Analyst position based in our NJ HQ office is responsible for executing the Customer Profitability Process, including Customer Contribution Statements, Dashboards and supporting Customer Finance teams to drive Customer profitability behavior. Execute a best in class customer reporting process to support the overall customer finance pillar.
Key Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
Customer Profitability
Lead Quarterly development of Customer Profitability CCS/Dashboards and consolidated Action Plans
Lead the continuous evolution and improvement of CCS capabilities ' i.e., Essbase solution, What if's, etc.
Understand financial accounting changes and Global CCS changes in order to assess impact on CCS
Partner with Customer Finance and CCSD to develop and implement value added tools that drive positive Customer Investment Behavior and overall trade-offs to improve Custom Contribution
Participate in development and deployment of training for Field Sales
Share analytics and drive improvements in CCS margin improvements
Business Planning & Trade Investment Analysis
Responsible(together with A.D. Business Excellence) for the Sales Planning customer Financial roll ups
Partner with CD to ensure the company is leveraging sales planning tools to maximum benefit
Support Operational Excellence initiatives (Scorecards, KPIs)
Support Pre/Post Trade Evaluation process as it relates to Finance roles and responsibilities
Key participant in Customer & Trade KPI Reporting and Dashboards. Work with Customer Finance and other Sales Finance colleague to develop and embed enhanced processes and analysis to aid in transparency and decision making within the field organization as it relates to TTS investment (YTD/YTG, Forecast improvements, etc.)
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
Minimum 3-5 years experience in Finance with a CPG company; Sales Finance experience a plus
Project management experience
History of being able to understand and document business processes while recommending best in class improvements
