Job Summary:
Reviews, creates, and maintains various database queries and tables. Uses internal databases on a daily basis to maintain relationships and structures such as Master Parts Listings and Customer Accounts along with their corresponding product offerings. Creates and maintains product images.

Job Duties:
  • Assign and load product catalog part numbers and product internal inventory numbers
  • Responsible for loading and maintaining the product master including attributes within (TN3270 Plus “QAD”)
  • Respond to operational order issues by troubleshooting to a root cause and providing resolution within a 24 hour window
  • Assign, load, and maintain customer product offerings in an SQL server platform
  • Photographing product to customer specifications, generating and maintaining catalog and other organizational images
  • Continuously analyzing department best practices providing feedback and improvement suggestions
  • Documenting department process improvements in flowcharting & work instruction formats
  • Proofread multiple customer printed catalogs along with any related price sheets and/or technical documents
  • Assist with maintaining the research database used for new product introduction
o This consists of building application files and investigating make/model definitions

Job Requirements & Skills:
  • Associate’s degree (A.S.) or the equivalent from a Two-Year College or technical school; minimum two years related experience in catalog and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Works under supervision
  • Possesses knowledge of the organization’s policies, products, and/or services
  • Exhibits credibility and trustworthiness to customers and to the company
  • Ability to use Remy project management and software tools (spreadsheets, database, presentation programs, etc)
Preferred Requirements & Skills:
  • Self proficient using Access, SQL and/or other Database management programs
  • Automotive parts retail experience
  • Detail oriented and capable of multitasking
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Photoshop experience recommended
  • Basic Project management skills
  • VBA or equivalent programming knowledge and experience

Work Requirements and Conditions:
  • This position is located in a Professional environment.
  • Equipment used: Standard Office Equipment. Occasional PPE (Safety Glasses / Hearing Protection) when in certain parts of the plants.
  • Lifting requirements: Standard Office Lifting Requirements & capability of lifting up 50lbs.
  • Safety Equipment used (PPE): As defined for this job may include safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and other personal safety equipment per your specific assignments and locations
