Business Analyst - Credit This position is responsible for leading and delivering projects on time and on budget. Manage all aspects of project execution from project approval to end. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet challenging needs and requirements to deliver business value by balancing resources, scope and time. Serve as the single point of contact for Credit and organize projects involving both IS and Credit. Interpret business needs and lead projects for Credit through the planning, development and implementation phases. Regularly interact with Credit and IS senior management in shaping customer experience and improving efficiency in the contact center through design and process improvement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership
  • Manages the process of innovative change effectively

Manage project schedules, scope and deliverables
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, manages project change control process, identifies potential risks and issues, and devises contingency plans
  • Actively follows PMO methodology and consistently incorporates project management best practices
  • Ensures timely and effective delivery of solution into production
Communicate project expectations
  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Builds, develops and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Reports project status and issues to business partners and Credit management
  • Defines project success criteria and disseminates to involved parties throughout the project life cycle
Process Improvement
  • Identifies process improvements, defines business requirements and leads technical test initiatives within Credit
  • Drives design efforts to constantly improve customer experience and contact center efficiency
  • Analyzes and determines feasibility of Credit project requests
  • Drives innovative solutions after understanding business needs
Required
  • Previous project management experience
  • Experience coordinating the work of others
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
Preferred
  • 4 year degree in Information Services, MIS, Computer Science, or other related field
  • Ability to influence others, build relationships, and work effectively with others in the IS and Credit organizations
  • Excellent client management skills (communication, influencing, listening, adaptability and partnering skills)
  • Excellent analysis (business and financial) and critical thinking skills
  • PMP Certification
